He says Red found out that you and Emizel had a... history, and Red told him he shouldn't be at the festival.

It was enough to make him try to hit Red, but I'm not sure if it actually connected.

[Red seemed lively enough, all things considered, and Shun had admittedly been more focused on Emizel at the time.]

Now that it's over, he's upset with himself for trying to hurt Red.

From what I understand, he wanted to end the conversation, but Red wouldn't let it go and kept insisting he leave. He got upset, so that's when he tried to hit Red.

[Emi. Emi why. Lu Meng lets out a frustrated sigh. He's trying to keep a lid on how upset he is, but if Shun remembers how his emotions used to leak out over crystal communications? Yup, it's happening right now.]

Is Emizel injured?

No, he wasn't. What about Red? He was worried he'd hurt him during all of that.

Red is unhurt, but upset at himself. He is very remorseful over what happened. [Shun can try to send his calm, but it's going to meet a growing wall of anxiety and anger and guilt, because damnit of course Lu Meng would ruin CNY for everyone. He should've kept away from the festival, he shouldn't have volunteered, or at the very least he should have left so Emizel could stay and Red wouldn't have gotten into this argument in the first place--

Some of those thoughts leak out to Shun.]

I'll be sure to tell Emizel. And let Red know that Emizel wasn't hurt, either.

[As he thought... It's likely they both simply got caught up in the moment.

But then he senses Lu Meng's anxiety, and he focuses his attention on it, sending over wave after wave of calm. Despite their time apart, he slips into the role quickly enough--

He always did end up doing much the same even back home in Group 1, after all.]

...Lu Meng. Do you really think a small fight between friends is enough to negate all of the joy this brought to others?
